Flexible – Modular training pathway

PPL(H) → Hour Building → CPL(H)

Prefer to train at your own pace? The modular route offers a flexible pathway to becoming a professional helicopter pilot, allowing you to spread your training over time while building real-world experience along the way.

You start with a Private Pilot Licence (PPL(H)), where you complete both theoretical study and a minimum of 45 flight hours. After obtaining your licence, you build flight experience independently or through rental, progressing towards the required 155 total hours. This phase allows you to develop confidence, decision-making, and operational awareness in a more gradual learning environment.

From Experience to Professional

CPL(H) Modular Course

Once you meet the hour requirements, you continue with the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL(H)). This phase focuses on refining your flying precision and preparing you for professional operations.

The course includes approximately 650 hours of theory (primarily self-study with classroom support) and a minimum of 30 flight hours with an instructor. Training is conducted on helicopters such as the Cabri G2 and Robinson R44, ensuring you gain relevant, industry-aligned experience.

The modular route is ideal for students who require flexibility or prefer a step-by-step progression, while still achieving the same professional licence as the integrated program.
