Have you previously obtained a (foreign) airplane license or a (foreign) helicopter license? Are you interested in finding out whether you can convert your license to an EASA helicopter license, and which study discount could be deducted from the total costs? European Heli Center has a lot of experience when it comes to providing customised training courses.
In many cases, you are eligible for such a reduction from your theoretical part and flying hours.
If you obtained a helicopter- or airplane license abroad in the past, this is quite likely to be an ICAO license. Click here for a list of countries this applies to. The type of license that you have, combined with your level of experience, determines which knowledge and experience you can ‘reuse’ when converting to an EASA license.
After completing both the theoretical part and the practical part, all conversions are concluded with a practical exam with one of our examiners. The examiner tests your knowledge and skills, and after successful completion you can apply for your EASA license.
The costs of the conversion strongly depend on which license you have, how much flight experience you have, and which type of license you wish to convert to.

The column “Crediting” tells you how many hours you can deduct from the mandatory minimum of 45 flying hours needed to take your PPL(H) exam.

Please note: CPL crediting covers a MAXIMUM of 90% of the practical course.
